Sarah Blizzard : Hailing from Ararat in country Victoria, Sarah is a member of the Australian Bobsleigh Team, training and competing all around the world chasing her Winter Olympic and World Championship dreams. Sarah is also the only athlete in the 140 year history of the Stawell Gift, to make the final 4 years in a row.
She is a phenomenal athlete with a unique story. Get around her and show support for a genuine home grown athlete who's competing against the world

Paul Barnard

Paul Barnard. Paul started his football journey in Western Australian before being lured over to Victoria where he was drafted by the Hawthorn FC at the end of the 1993 season. He managed 2 years with the Hawks and 11 games before being traded to the mighty Bombers. Known for his hardness at the ball he put together an impressive career at the Bombers with 8 years of service and another 140 games but the most impressive highlight was the 2000 AFL Premiership were he kicked 4 goals and was named among the best a field.            

Shannon Byrnes

From the Murray bushrangers to the biggest stage on the AFL Calendar Shannon got to stand on the podium in the middle of the MCG and be presented with an AFL premiership medal, he did this not once but twice in the 2007 and then again in 2009 with his beloved Cats. He got to play alongside some of the biggest names in the game like Gary Ablett Jnr, Cameron Ling and Joel Selwood. His playing days continued when he crossed to Melbourne and then Suburban football with Deer Park where secured another 4 premiership’s and was also a part of  Melbourne’s 2021 premiership and then the 2022 Geelong Premiership where he was a player development Manager and the game day runner. What an unbelievable career.

Steele Sidebottom

This week's episode features AFL superstar Steele Sidebottom, We recorded this episode and the end of the 2022 Season after coming off an awesome season, we hope you enjoy. From kick to kick in the back yard of his home town of Tallygaroopna with his 4 brothers to the biggest AFL club in the land the Collingwood football club. He reached the top of the mountain in only his second year of AFL when Collingwood won the 2010 premiership. He is a multiple Copeland trophy winner, came runners up in the 2018 Brownlow medal and is only the fourth player in Collingwoods history to play 300 games.

He won numerous state titles as a junior and senior before heading heading overseas to take on the world. He competed in 3 Commonwealth games, winning a Gold medal and 2 bronze. He proudly sits in Australia's top 5 players of all time and is considered amongst his peers as badminton royalty.

Xavier was a pivotal part of 1977 VFL drawn Grand final game 1 and backed it up the next week where he starred in game 2 to help get North Melbourne over the line and hold aloft the Premiership cup.
